50 Cent Goes Full Dad in Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Mean Tweets – Hip Hop Edition’ (Video)
Reading mean things about yourself can be rough on the old self-esteem. Unless you’re 50 Cent, in which case you offer the critic some pretty good fatherly advice.
In the latest edition of “Mean Tweets” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” focused on hip-hop artists, 50 Cent dealt with his own mean tweet — which read, “50 Cent is a moron and needs to get kicked in the ballsack” — in an incredibly dad way.
“I don’t think anyone deserves to be kicked in the ballsack, under any circumstances,” 50 said. “I think that you should take these violent thoughts and place your energy somewhere a little more productive.”
Remy Ma wasn’t quite so helpful or zen about her mean tweet.
“‘I feel like Remy Ma physically fights her beats. Like she can’t rap on beat to save her life,’ ” she read, then looked into the camera. “Rem Ma also physically fights people who talk s–t on Twitter. Like, for real. F— ‘em up.”
Anderson .Paak meanwhile was more confused than anything else.
“‘Anderson .Paak looks like he f—ed his own cousin to be honest?’ ” he read, looking dazed by the tweet. “I’m from — what?”
But Awkwafina was fully aware of the situation before reading her tweet.
“Awkwafina has the voice of a 58-year-old divorce attorney,” the tweet read, to which Awkwafina replied, “Bitch, I know.”
And sometimes, living well is the best revenge — especially for T-Pain.
“‘Hey, what happened to T-Pain,’ ” he read, “‘There’s still a massive market for s—ty music’ — dammit.
“S—ty music or not — I’m doing way better than you!” he said — before trying to get up and walk off from the Mean Tweets set, despite still being wired to his microphone.
